Went to Bhubaneswar to Receive Anira Roseighra Books for Shubhapallaba Store

Today, I went to Bhubaneswar to receive Anira Roseighra Books by Dr. Sulagna Mohanty for Shubhapallaba Store. And brought all the books from Story Lab.

I had collaborated with Dr. Sulagna Mohanty to sell her books on Shubhapallaba Store because we at Shubhapallaba store need more customers and she is the person who could help us through her books to reach to more customers.

Amazon and other shopping sites helping us to sell our products globally, but they are taking lots of charges, but we could save that for us and for the seller or producer of course. So, she agreed and also she is so kind.

On the Way to Bhubaneswar near Sathipur

Today, early in the morning I went to Bhubaneswar to receive the books and reached the Story Lab office near Maa Tarini Bastralaya in Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar by 9.30 am and took all the books where these books were available for the Bhubaneswar people.

Now, you could buy these books from Shubhapallba Store just by visiting our website or searching on Google about this book. Or easily by clicking the buy button below.

And after the online store, we are planning for a physical location to sell these books offline in Bhadrak.

I got a mail from Ameen Sayani sir for Geetmala

I got a mail from Ameen Sayani sir for Geetmala

On the 20th November 2020, I got a mail from Ameen Sayani sir for Geetmala. A few days backs when I was listening to his episode on the Saregama YouTube channel recorded in 2009, I got his email and curiously mailed him and surprisingly got the reply too.

I got a mail from Ameen Sayani sir for Geetmala

Who is Ameen Sayani?

Ameen Sayani is a popular former radio announcer from India. He achieved fame and popularity all across South Asia when he presented his Binaca Geetmala program (1952-1988 & 1989-1994) of hits over the airwaves of Radio Ceylon. He is one of the most imitated announcers even today.

His style of addressing the crowd with "Behno aur Bhaiyo " (meaning "sisters and brothers") as against the traditional "Bhaiyo aur Bahno" is still treated as an announcement with a melodious touch.

This radio program was started when my father wasn't born and ended before my birth. I couldn't listen to the original show, but the recorded show and those memories are really great. I just love that concept of playing those old songs, with those old interviews, new updates about those actors, singers, lyricists, composers.

Why I'm listening to Geetmala?

For some reason, I love to listen to slow music. Though I'm very bad to recognize the voice and unable to remember the names easily, but I use to listen to songs repeatedly.

After quitting my job, I'm working from one place only and that is from my bedroom and listening to songs while working. In 2018, I found the Saregama Carvaan Weekend Classic radio show with Ruchi, and then this year, I found the Geetmala series and started listening.

A few days back, when I was writing an article about a Bangladeshi actress for Wikipedia Asia Month, I heard his voice and curiously searched his name and found something interesting about him which I've mentioned above. And after one or two days, I found his email id and send him an e-mail.

Why I mailed him?

Since 2015, I'm trying to write something and I've written a few stories, some funny poems also. I couldn't write stories up to that mark for which people could remember me, but some people said some inspiring words when I had started the College Diary Series and later also. I felt those claps, a few words are a really great thing for me, and for that reason, I just mailed him.

But I was shocked when I saw his reply. His words are really inspiring. I don't know if he has replied or not, but I think it's real because, in some of his shows, he talked about some emails which he used to get from the listeners. Anyway this a great thing for me actually.

My Experience Mahatma Gandhi 2020 edit-a-thon

My Experience Mahatma Gandhi 2020 edit-a-thon

This year CIS-A2K has planned a mini edit-a-thon on 2nd and 3rd October in 2020 for the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Here is my experience with this edit-a-thon.

My Experience Mahatma Gandhi 2020 edit-a-thon

The main objective of Mahatma Gandhi 2020 edit-a-thon was to improve content related to Mahatma Gandhi on any Wikimedia project, so I've participated to created articles on Odia Wikipedia and also added Odia labels of some related items on Wikidata.

I got a message about this edit-a-thon from a friend Nitesh Gill, who is now working with the CIS-A2K team. So, I signed up on 25th September.

Within these 2 days, I've created 5 articles related to Mahatma Gandhi. I had translated the articles of the family members of Mahatma Gandhi from English Wikipedia.

Before this, I don't have much idea about his family, who are his son, who are there with him in South Africa or India during the Independence movement, etc. But through this, I gain a little bit of knowledge about all these things.

This mini edit-a-thon on a specific topic actually helped to read more and create more number of articles about that place, thing, or person. And if I'm getting 30 days, I use to think, I've lots of days, but at the end, I could create 3 to 4 articles, but this time, I had just 2 days and the beginning of the month means to cover all the news, messages, reviews about the recent edition of Shubhapallaba Magazine, but still I was able to create 5 articles which is greater than the number of articles I've created in last Wikipedia Asian Month in 2019.

On Odia Wikipedia, Priti Ranjan Tripathy Bhai, R Ashwini Banjana Murmu Bhai and I had created a total of 7 article including my 5 articles. You could find the list of article here on this link below.

The Experience of GLOW, The Project Tiger 2.0

The Experience of GLOW, The Project Tiger 2.0
The Experience of GLOW, The Project Tiger 2.0

Project Tiger, a collaboration of Wikipedia with Google to add and improve the Indic Wikipedia articles. After completing this edit-a-thon successfully in 2018, the CIS-A2K again started the 2nd round as GLOW which abbreviates as Growing Local Language Content on Wikipedia.

During the 1st time, I got the Chromebook, so this time I had applied for the Internet. Nitesh Gill and Suswetha Kolluru, the Project Tiger Co-ordinators from CIS-A2K had helped me a lot from the beginning.

Before starting this project, I had participated in Project Tiger Community Consultation at Chennai in March 2019, where we had planned for this edit-a-thon.

This edit-a-thon started from the 10th of October in 2019 and ended on 10th January 2020. This time, we got the chance to choose the articles for this edit-a-thons from which we had created just 155 articles.

Dr. Subas Chadran Rout had created 76 articles, Aliva Sahoo had created 48, Harihar Satpathy had created 24 articles, and I had created just 6. In those days I had an issue with the company where I was working, so couldn't create many articles, but overall we had improved from the previous edit-a-thon.

In 2018, I was in Bangalore and had participated in an offline edit-a-thon at CIS-A2K office, Bangalore, where I had created 4 or 5 articles in one day, but at this time, we couldn't conduct any offline edit-a-thon, which might help to create more articles.

The overall experience is good and for this edit-a-thon, some new and good* articles are created on Odia Wikipedia. I couldn't participate more in this edit-a-thon, but the internet support is still on, which is definitely helping me to create articles every day for the #100wikidays.

I must thank all the co-ordinators from Wikimedia Foundation, CIS-A2K, Local Jury members, all the participants, and the Google team for this project.

A Short film on the Paika Rebellion in Odisha

A Short film on the Paika Rebellion in Odisha
A Short film on the Paika Rebellion in Odisha

Once Odia producer Akshaya Parija had announced an Odia film Bakshi Jagabandhu featuring Anubhav Mohanty based on the Paika Rebellion in Odisha.

At that time, I had planned to create a page about this film on Odia Wikipedia. Later, someone else created, but still, the film is pending. Later I heard some gossips about this film.

Just 2 to 3 days back I came to know about a film trailer named "Paika Bidroha" on the Twitter timeline of Odia actor Samaresh Routray.

It's a short Odia film on the Paika Rebellion in Odisha featuring two famous villains of Odia film Industry Samaresh Rourtray and Manoj Mishra, both were students of National School of Drama.

The film is available on YouTube, you should watch it and have to know that part of the history of Odisha.

I love the way they presented the film to us. As a short film, they had picturized the whole thing within around 25 minutes, which is easy for this generation, because now all want a big novel as a short story.

I should thank the cast and the whole production team for making this film and releasing it on YouTube.

Dil Bechara - End of that Beautiful Smile

Dil Bechara - End of that Beautiful Smile
Dil-Bichara-Review-by-Sangram-Keshari-Senapati

Dil Bechara, the last movie of Sushant Singh Rajput and the debut film of Sanjana Sanghi in a lead role. But it was really hard to watch him for the last time on a new story.

When he died, all demanded to release it on the big screen, but due to the COVID issue, they released on Disney+ Hotstar, which is available for all users.

Yesterday I couldn't watch the movie, so today watched it and trust me, this is the 1st movie where I didn't skip any songs while watching and watched from start to the end, each and everything.

The storyline of the film is on single line, "ek tha Raja, ek thi Rani... Dono margayi, khatam kahani..." But here one is suffering badly. And the end is really emotional, where nobody except the self-made best film critic of the country couldn't hold their tears.

And one thing is, now everybody loves the film because he is no more and if he would be here, lots of people would have been trolling him. But what he and others did in the movie is really appreciating.

I'm not in that position to judge the movie or songs, but the overall thing is amazing and I love each and every part. And there is a surprise for the audience when they visit Paris, must watch that.

Still, I couldn't believe he is no more. But it's the truth and we have to accept that. And I would say again, "I would miss that smile on his face."

Ichha- Odia Series on TarangPlus

Ichha- Odia Series on TarangPlus
Ichchha-odia-series-on-TarangPlus

When TarangPlus was launched, all were excited, and the previous two web series Chumbak and 72 Hours are good, though I love Chumbak more.

During this lockdown, people get frustrated just because of the amount they gave as the plan and just two web series, not many exciting movies, so finally, another new series, Ichha has been released on this platform.

The series starred Gargi Mohanty in lead, an excellent dancer, an actress whom we still remember as Devi from the serial Devi and she had played some exciting character in different Television serials and also films. She is played the character of Nikita Choudhury or Nikki.

The two male leads are Dushmant and Rajesh. Dushmant was famous for the album songs and later for movies, this series may boost his career now. The young lead hero Rajesh is known for the various character from YouTube series to Television series on Tarang and Zee Sarthak. Some side roles are played by Priyanka and Snigdha Mohanty and some new actors.

The story is based on a true story which I think. On an episode of Satya Meva Jayate by Amir Khan, they had featured a girl who left her husband just because of her happiness, and this story is quite similar and the writer had stretched in a good way which is good.

I shouldn't narrate the plot now, but it's an exciting love story, where you would some interesting clips of Gargi Mohanty and obviously you have to forget that Devi character from your mind.

Since it's on an OTT platform more bold scene and censorable languages are there, which is common now and there are lots of meme material in episode 6. Though I'm not familiar with Cuttaki style, I may not relate more with those dialogues in episode 1.

If we compare the characters and their role play with the other two series, then 72 Hours and this one is better, because all are experienced actors and they know how to play the character perfectly.

If we would talk about music and songs, I love the songs more and the lyrics is really nice. However Sashank Shekhar is a good singer, that's why he got the state film award, but still couldn't retrieve his article on Odia Wikipedia.

And the overall concept and the roles are good, but the role of Nikki's Mother played by Priyanka Mam could be more interesting, which I feel, but the director knows more.

I would recommend you watch this if you support the extramarital affair and of course, you should watch if don't support it. And don't judge a book from its cover, just read it properly and under what the author is willing to say.

I would Miss this Smile on Your Face
Sushant Singh Rajput's Smile

Yesterday I was sleeping and my father turned on the news, which was about you. "Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his Mumbai home." I couldn't believe it, I just heard it and quickly woke up and the bad dream was real.

I tried to convince myself that, he is "Anni" and how could he commit suicide? But this is not in the film, it's in real life and it's not happened with Anirudh, it happened with Sushant, another Dhoni of our country.

I came to know about you when you went to The Comedy Nights with Kapil to promote your 2nd movie Shuddh Desi Romance and from that day love your smile and the way of your talking.

That day, when you cried on the Road as MS Dhoni, almost all cried with you. But today, you left us with tears. How could you think nobody would care for your nobody would cry for you? Yes, there are people who become friends in good times only, but there is at least one friend in the world, who really cares for you.

From yesterday, I was trying to write this, but I couldn't. I know the pain of depression and the reality of these people who are talking about you and caring for you now. I don't know the cause of yours, but it's a really tough time for everybody.

After the Chhichhore Movie, I wanted to thank you personally, but that won't happen in this life. But sir I love you for making that movie and I would miss that smile on your face.

And we are the Best creation of God!

And we are the Best creation of God!
elephant died in kerala 2020

As per the human belief, "We are the best creation of God." We have a better lifestyle, we have a fully functioning brain, we have the power to understand everything and lots of things which we only have in this world.

Is this really true? Are we really that creation about which we always take the credit? I don't think so.

If you are thinking you agree with the above lines, then yes, you are the best creation of God, not me.

A few days back, in Odisha one pregnant dog died just because of this human, a few months back, one 5 dogs died with a car accident and now another big incident.

According to the Times of India news, "A pregnant elephant died on May 27 after a local allegedly fed her a pineapple stuffed with crackers, in Malappuram, Kerala."

Can you think of such things in your mind? I'm eating chicken, that's why I may not have that power to talk against the hunting of birds, but in such case, I've everything to raise my voice. But who would listen now? Can our voice bring the life of that elephant and the baby inside her?

But if you could be more careful about such things, if we could care about these animals, birds, then we could also deserve that title, "The Best Creation of GOD."

Suzuki Burgman - The Best Scooter in India

Suzuki Burgman - The Best Scooter in India
Suzuki Burgman - The Best Scooty in India

From the past few days, I was looking for a scooter for local travels. I went to Suzuki, Honda, Hero, Yamaha, TVS to know the features, prices, looks, everything. And choose the Suzuki Burgman.

First of all, when I saw this 1 year ago, I love the look. It's a like a sports bike. From that day, I was planning for this one.

But when my father asked to buy one for this Corona pandemic, I went to almost all showrooms in Bhadrak. Though, I prefer this one, but better to check before you buy, so you couldn't blame yourself after that.

Why Suzuki Burgman is more preferable?

It's a 125 CC bike with tubeless tyres and a huge size with an attractive look. The fuel economy is also good, around 50 to 55 kilometers (as per some purchaser). For me, it's the best scooter in India.

I was thinking about the metallic black, but my father suggested to choose some other color, and then I called the delivery boy and he send me the photos of this one.

My parents as well as our astrologer preferred this one. This was the last piece in stock there, so I asked him to book this one and as per the suggestion of our astrologer, my father asked to pick from the showroom on 27th May 2020.

Best Self Start among Suzuki Scooter

But, the number registration system was closed by the RTO up to 1st June, so till 1st June, I could ride this one. By 1.30 pm on 1st June, I got the numbers, but due to heavy rain and wind flow, I could take it to fix the number plate.

best scooter in india 2020

So, yesterday, on 2nd June, finally I took this to the showroom to add some extra gadgets and then put a simply designed number plate.

In India, we actually do worship every new thing which we bought. So, today, in the morning I took it to the Bankabasuli Temple in Bhadrak and then finished the worship. And now, it's fully authorized to ride.

Why Indians Worship new vehicle

These are all the good things which I had written before, but there are some features which should be there. If we are investing 100K on a scooter, it should come with at least a sensor system like Yamaha Fascino.

YouTube Vs TikTok - A Waste of Time

Sangram Keshari Senapati May 17, 2020 0
YouTube Vs TikTok - A Waste of Time

In 2017, when I wan in Bangalore, I saw my roommate Nikas was watching a video where the person was abusing someone. For the first time, I couldn't imagine what was going on, but I enjoyed it. It's the normal human tendency to see the bravery in movies and it was like that.

After that, he suggested me to watch some more videos and obviously I watched some. Then I completed watching all of his videos from the QnA videos to the community guideline strike, everything and came to know more about him.

Then, I saw some of his interview videos; in some of his interview, he had explained about that video, where he roasted BB Ki Vines aka Bhuvan Bam and how he got 1K views in his first and in another interview I saw how Bhuvan explained everything, how he supported him, how he talked to him and appreciate that.

But, till that time, I was unable to understand how a teenager could use such languages in public, where he mentioned that, his mother uses to watch all of his videos 1st before releasing on YouTube. He, I mean Carry Minati aka Ajey Nagar belongs to Faridabad, Delhi where such words are common and they are okay with that. So, it was cool with him and his family.

But now why I'm talking about him? Because of his record-breaking video on some Tik Tok users, which is taken down by the YouTube community from YouTube. Here, I'm going to explain about the actual marketing plan within that.

I've watched all his videos, so I know whom he roasted and how all reacted at that time and then how they became friends. While Carry roasted BB Ki Vines, Bhuvan took positively and while he roasted Dhinchak Pooja, she used him properly and got millions of views on YouTube.

Now, he did the same thing, he abused Aamir Siddiqui and some others, where the fight now became Carry Minati vs Tik Tok. This video got lots of views and carry got more than 6 million subscribers in a few days. Here Carry Minati broke the record to gain the highest subscribers within 24 hours.

All YouTube users started saying the same thing about his video and now the internet community divided into 3 parts; the 1st one supporting YouTube, 2nd one supporting Tik Tok, and the 3rd one is supporting both.

I even didn't know who is Aamir Siddiqui, but now lots of people knew about him and another user Mr. Faisu started his YouTube channel and got more than 400K subscribers within a few days and his 1st vlog video is trending on no1 at some region also.

How could his 1st video got such views and trending on rank 1? It's just because of this video by Carry Minati and others on YouTube. All the social media news channels, even some other news channels are also talking about them. This video got more than 1.2 million dislikes also, but the YouTube algorithm doesn't see the like and dislike ratio, it matters about views and ultimately he is getting views.

Now the question is, why they are doing this? Carry Minati previously said, he is doing all these roasts with the proper permission and I think here there is something like that and all are taking benefits from that. But the big question is why YouTube deleted that?

It's because there are some questionable things, but I think those people had played a game at the proper time. Carry's video was going to make a world record, most liked non-music video every on YouTube.

At the time of T-Series vs Pewdiepie, the whole American community supported Pewdiepie against T-Series and all promoted his channel and requested to subscribe. Even someone flew a helicopter with a flag to subscribe Pewdiepie.

At this time, they might play some games like this and deleted the video while it was about to touch 10 million likes. But what our people are doing? Whey we all are shouting here like dogs?

Here Carry and other YouTubers are getting views and those Tik Tok users are increasing their fan base and what these people are shouting like fools? These people are wasting their time and obviously promoting them.

8Yrs Of Gabbar Singh Hysteria is Trending on No 3

When Dabang of Salman Khan was released all were doing that Dabang dance and the glass style, putting it backside hanging from the shirt collar. Even, I did that in some photos which you may find on my Facebook page.

But the big breaking news came when Pawan Kalay had done the remake of Dabang as Gabbar Singh. The style and the punch dialogues made the fans mad. Though I couldn't understand the Telugu Language, I watch is with the sub-titles. As much as I love the role of Pawan Kalyan, I love the character of Brahmanandam Garu in the film.

I have watched it more than 20 times. Every time, the charm increases more. And we all were waiting for the next part, Sardar Gabbar Singh. It came with a totally different story and also with a new heroine Kajal Agrawal. But, I didn't like the 2nd part as much as I like the 1st part.

But, who cares about the story when the Power Star himself in the film. So, we watched the full movie, but not as many as times with the 1st one.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day is a celebration for honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. This was started from United States in the 20th Century.

In the United States and other western countries, most families are busy with their personal work, but here our mothers are always busy her child, for her family. They celebrate this to honoring their mother and we are also following that thing. I never oppose people who are inspiring from other's cultures.

I came to know about this day from social media. Actually, these social media helps to celebrate lots of days from earth day to mother's day and father's day. I never say 'Happy Mother's Day' to my mother, because she doesn't need that.

If you come to your mother on a single day only to wish her and rest 364 days are west. So, I'm here with her to help her, for her and for us, all 365 days are the Mother's day, Son's Day, Family Day, everything.

Today, I'm sharing her photo with my sister which was clicked on sister's marriage day.

I Wear Sambalpuri Handloom

A few days back, while I was scrolling my Twitter Timeline, I have noticed some tweets from some handles with the hashtag #IWearSambalpuriHandloom, so I thought I should post one photo of mine with a Sambalpuri shirt.

Unfortunately, I have only one Sambalpuri shirt with me from 2010, which is the one and only Sambalpuri Shirt in my life till now. At that time, I was wearing that one, so I just went out of my room and clicked a photo with a little bit of sunshine.

In 2011, my mother had made this shirt for my 16th birthday and at that time, I was not fit for me and I hadn't liked this shirt in those days. But later in my engineering time, I wore this sometimes and still it's fit.

In February 2020, when I was in Delhi for the LangFest 2020, I met Niladri Bihari Nayak Bhai there, he was wearing a nice Sambalpuri kurta with a jacket, I love that and planned to make an exact copy of that, even the color. But due to lockdown, I could prepare it.

The Sambalpuri cloth has its own charm, which you could see from the photo above. It's too decent and gives full attractiveness and overall a gentle look.

For a Massive Hit, all We need is a story and the effort in making

Sangram Keshari Senapati May 02, 2020 0
For a Massive Hit, all We need is a story and the effort in making

In March 2020, the Ramayan cast members Arun Govil, Dipika Chikhlia, and Sunil Lahri with Prem Sagar came to The Kapil Sharma's Show to celebrate 30 years of Ramayana by late director Ramananda Sagar.

By that time, the CoronaVirus pandemic started in India and after the Janta Carfue on 22nd March, we all are at home for the LockDown to break the chain of coronavirus. So, Doordarshan planned to re-telecast the old mythological serials again on DD National and DD Bharati.

In my +2 English textbook, we read the autobiography of Ramananda Sagar on Ramayan Serial making and the reactions he got during that time. There, he mentioned how people came to visit his house to watch Ramayan on TV, who didn't have any idea about the creator of the show. Then when I saw that episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, telecasted on Sony TV, it feels really proud.

In that show, Prem Sagar had narrated how they planned to make the Ramayan and how they face problems during the shooting period and how they created the animation in those days, where there were no such advanced techniques to create the high standard VFX.

I heard some people who crack jokes on such series with no VFX and the 2D animation used for a 3D visualization. But, a few days back when we saw the news that Ramayan broke all the records of the visitor worldwide, that moment I realize the facts for a massive hit.

All we know the story of Ramayan, but still we all watch this series. Most of our people had watched it before on TV and also on YouTube, but they still watch it on TV.

Ramanand Sagar had dreamed to make this series with all those types of equipment they had and he did that with his team. Later we saw lots of Ramayan and Hanuman series with huge graphics work and VFX as well as some newly added stories.

Nowadays, the mythological serials are made up of the stories written by the marketing team. So, they are making it to make more money while Ramanand Sagar had skipped lots of things just for lack of references. Now we are watching time travel and lots of bullshit with the original scripts.

Ramanand Sagar had shown the exact Ramayan with proper characterization and finished the 7 parts of Ramayan in just 78 episodes, whereas the recent Ramayan series may take 78 episodes up to the born of Lord Rama.

Today, we watched the final episode of Uttar Ramayan or the whole Ramayan, where I saw my parents' eyes full of tears. I bet you, if you watched it properly then you must have been cried at least once when Bharat said bye to his brother at the beginning of the Banabas and the end song performed by Lav and Kush at the court of Lord Ramachandra in Ayodhya.

Ramanand Sagar is no more to see this great success again, but we love you, sir, for making this masterpiece. Thanks to the Doordarshan for retelecasting this one and giving us a chance to live in that era of Rama.

Ramanand Sir noted in his story which we read in college that, they were staying in a jungle, where all were calling themselves with the character names and now, we were staying within that campus.

We lose Another Kapoor - Rishi Kapoor

Sangram Keshari Senapati April 30, 2020 0
We lose Another Kapoor - Rishi Kapoor

There was a time when he was the Romantic Star of the country with a star face holding a guitar with muffler within his neck. The actor who got the Filmfare for his debut, but before that he got the national film award as a child artist for the film Mera Naam Joker.

From a romantic hero to a villain, comedian, and experimenting with all types of characters, he was excellent in every role. Yesterday, we lose Irrfan Khan, one of the finest actor from the Indian film Industry who show his notable work in the cinemas of the world. Today, we lose another KAPOOR from India and from the Indian film Industry.

Though I haven't watched more of his films, I saw Pehla Pehla Pyar with Tabu, at that time, I realized the power of that actor. Then, I started watching lots of his films and saw some of his interviews. He told some of his life stories on the Coffee with Karan show and then he came to Kapil Sharma's show, where we saw his humor and the comic character within him.

He performed his own role for his Biography. He read his book in front of the people, which all couldn't do in a great way. He named his book a Khullam Khulla, where he shared some of his life stories.

Today, while I was watching news on TV, I came to know about an oldest incident of him. When Raj Kapoor was planning for the movie "Mera Naam Joker", at that time he was searching for a small kid, who could play the role of a Joker.

Raj Kapoor was discussing this with his wife and purposed for Chintu, the nickname of Rishi Kapoor. At that time, Rishi Kapoor heard this discussion and at that age, he started practicing to give the autograph to his fans.

He was passionate about his film career, for which he always cared about his roles as various characters. Even he refused to do some good and superhit movies, just not to hamper that image from the audience.

In the last days, he used the twitter platform and some other social media and spread lots of love and also created some controversies also, but all his things always give happiness to his audience.

Everyone loves different roles, but for me, your best role is 104 Not Out and that film shows us the value of life and the fear to live for long.

Irrfan Sir, We Love You More

We know, the best persons always leave early and you are among them, but we still can’t believe that you went down from the bus about which you mentioned before from the hospitals of the United Kingdom.

We can’t say or request you to come back, but we could love you more. We couldn’t forget your works in the Jurassic World, Paan Singh Tomar, The Amazing Spiderman, Hindi Medium, Knock out, and other best roles.

We lose Irrfan Khan, one of the finest actors in the Indian film Industry. You have played various roles in different languages from India to Bangladesh, British and also in American Movies. You played all the roles, from a hero to villain, from a police officer to a terrorist. You proved yourself in every role. We saw Paan Singh Tomar in you and we saw that father, lover, a friend in various roles from all your movies.

That day, you had written the story of the bus conductor who was saying that your station is coming, but you are the person who fought against the disease and did Angregi Medium for us.

Today, at this time of Lockdown, we lose you from this world, but before that, you made a better place for you in the heart of people. Yes, we miss you a little bit, we miss that smile and that way of talking. But sir, we love you more and would love you till the end.

Lucifer - an awesome series on Netflix

Lucifer - an awesome series on Netflix

Lucifer is an American TV series originally premiered on Fox, but later owned by Netflix and now available as a web series on Netflix. This series is based on a DC Comics character from the comic book series The Sandman.

On 15h April 2020 when our Government had declared a lockdown for CoronaVirus, I took the subscription of Netflix. Actually, I took the subscription to watch the Little Things series which was originally made by Dice Media and premiered on YouTube, but later Netflix owned it and now available on Netflix series.

When I took the subscription, I had shared it on Twitter complaining about the high data consumption for the videos. From all those comments, I found a comment by Dillip Parida who suggested me to watch this series.

Though I love movies, but not a fan of series. Yes, I use to watch some on YouTube, for which I took this subscription to complete the Little Things Season 1 and Season 2. After these 2 seasons, I have watched some movies there.

In my Engineering days, I have watched just 3 seasons of Vampire Diaries and the TV series of Kungfu Panda also but never thought to watch any series with such curiosity. Due to my English problem, I couldn't watch all episodes of Sherlock Holmes though I love some of its stories, so I checked that which is also available on Netflix, but unfortunately that is available in English only.

There are not many movies which I could watch with love because I've watched most of those. So, I checked for the Lucifer Series. Fortunately, it's available in Hindi, so I started watching the 1st episode.

After the 1st episode, I thought to watch the 2nd and you won't believe it within those days, I haven't watched any movies. Whenever I got some, I started watching it.

Lucifer Morningstar, a Devil from Hell came to Earth and loved to stay at Los Angeles. He was an angel who was thrown out from heaven for betrayal and sent to Hell and became the King there. But he was bored with his life in Hell, abandons his throne and becomes a civilian consultant for the Los Angeles Police Department while running his own high-end nightclub called "Lux". This character is played by the actor Tom Ellis.

The female lead of this series is Detective Chloe Decker who is a homicide detective. Lucifer love to find the guilty people to punish and she solves crimes with Lucifer. The other characters in this series are really awesome. The expression of Dr. Linda Martin, the forensic scientist Ella Lopez of LAPD and the demon Mazikeen.

I love the way Lucifer addresses Chloe Decker as "Detective", that is so cute. Since I was watching the whole series in Hindi, I love the dialogues, which may not be the exact translated versions of the original dialogues, but that sounds really crazy.

I would definitely suggest to watch this series and yes since Lux is a high-end nightclub, you may find some adult things there and all are 16+ and 18+ rated.

Mission #1000wikidays Accomplished Successfully

Mission #1000wikidays Accomplished Successfully

When I started editing on Wikipedia, I never thought to write more than 10 articles, but now the count is increasing every day. From the past 1000 days, I was writing at least one article every day and finally, the mission for #1000wikidays completed today.

On 8th March 2017, when I started writing 100 women articles in 100 days, that was quite difficult because of traveling and the internet shutdown at my place for the communal violence. But when it was completed, that day I was too excited and with that excitement, I hadn't continued that, but form 13th July 2017 again I started writing with an aim to complete the #1WikiYear challenge and yes completed that by writing articles related to Odia Film Industry. But the sad part is from those 365 articles 24 articles have been deleted and one article recovered.

But, when I completed the 1st Wikiyear, I aimed for #500Wikidays which were completed by Pranay Raj Bangari and Nitesh Gill before and that too completed and today another 500 days completed. These 1000 days and the previous 100 days went just like a few days, but those were not so easy.

In those 1000 days, I got calls from friends as well as from fellow Wikimedians to quit; some suggested there are lots of time, but you have to prove yourself with a well-paid salary; some suggested not to waste time with such things when a work of at least 4 hours deleted within a few seconds. But these 1000 days taught me lots of things; Now I have good knowledge about our own film industry, I know lots of people from this industry, I learned lots of things about the political history of my state, and the hidden thing is some political things which you may face everywhere in life.

I was afraid of failure; if someday I couldn't write; if I met some accident for which I couldn't write, but thanks to that hidden support I see this day without any failure. On the wedding day of my sister, I was also writing article on my mobile next to the marriage mandap. In that communal violence, I went to the nearby district just to get the internet to write the article for that day. Yes, those days helped to complete this thing.

I wasn't sure to continue, but there are lots of political articles left, which I should read to know about the political history of Odisha and this may help me to achieve easily. I don't know up to when I could continue this, but I would aim for #2000wikidays. At this present scenario of the world, anything may happen at any time, but I wish I could write to the end of that. And if I survive, then the future may be different.

72 Hours - 2nd Series on Tarang Plus

Sangram Keshari Senapati March 20, 2020 0
72 Hours - 2nd Series on Tarang Plus

A father from a middle-class family could do anything for his children. Akash, a middle-class employee played by Manoj Mishra who recently bought a new house for his small family including his daughter Kuhu and his wife Anu, played by Anu Choudhury.

72 Hours, the 2nd web series on TarangPlus app which means the story is all about 72 hours or 3 days.

On her birthday, Kuhu fall sick and when she was admitted to the hospital her parents came to know about her disease and how she is suffering from that. The doctor asked Akash to arrange more and more money for the operation of her daughter.

Since the operation costs around 55 lacs, he tried his best to arrange money. He tried to lend from friends, sell his house, his wife sold her ornaments just to arrange 15 lacs, the initial amount for the operation process.

As the suggestion of their neighbor Dipti, they initiated crowdfunding, through which someone forced Akash to commit a murder. And I've mentioned above, "a middle-class father could do anything for the sake of his children."

So, the story is all about that struggle and the operation. But in the end there is a big twist, which is really big and enforces you to watch the 2nd season. Yes, I'm waiting for season 2 to know the truth of that, whether the end part is true or the whole season was true.

Manoj Mishra, Anu Choudhury, and Mihir Das did a fabulous role in this series, where you could see Mihir Das in his favorite Kaka style character. I could love the storyline, but there is a will to know what will happen at the end and the twist at the end again headed to season 2.

Everyone Has a Story

Sangram Keshari Senapati March 06, 2020 0
Everyone Has a Story

Everyone Has a Story is the 1st novel written by Miss Savi Sharma released in August 2015. This novel is based on an inspirational Story of Dreams, Friendship, Love & Life. As a debut writer she published this novel by herself and quickly became popular and bestselling.

As you all know, during the struggle period, nobody cares for you and after success, everybody started following you. In that rule, Westland publisher collaborated with her and publishing her books now. By February 2017 more than 1,00,000 copies of the book were sold.

In 2018, when I was in Bangalore, I bought a couple of books there seeing the reviews on Amazon, which includes This is Not Your Story and when I opened that book, I came to know about the author and her story too. Then I stopped reading that thought to read the 1st novel at first and then the 2nd one.

Once Tapas Bhai, my co-editor for Shubhapallaba had given this book and almost after 1 and half years just a few days back when I returned from Delhi after the 6th PRABASI BHASHA SAMMAN-2020 I started reading this one.

According to the story of this novel, there are four main characters; Meera, a fledgling writer who is in search of a story that can touch millions of lives. Vivan, an assistant branch manager at Citibank who dreams of traveling the world. Kabir, a cafe manager who desires something of his own. Nisha, the despondent cafe customer who keeps her secrets of her own. And everyone has their own stories with own struggles.

When I started reading the book, I was curious to know about the writer Meera, how she wished to write a book without a story? But when I started reading further and turn pages, their stories stick my attention to read and complete as quickly as possible.

Everyone's story has some unique thing, but when the story came to an end, I really didn't expect such things. But after all, I love the very last part. While giving a review of any books, I really appreciate the hard work of the author. Here she did a fabulous job, that's why this book got the best seller from the Indian readers.

If you want to read this novel for free, then It's available on Kindle unlimited and you could listen to it on Audible for free too.

Chumbak: 1st Series on TarangPlus

Sangram Keshari Senapati February 15, 2020 0
Chumbak: 1st Series on TarangPlus

When the TarangPlus app was launched by Odisha Television Network, we expected some new digital movies and web series and that happened on this Valentine's Day.

On the 14th of February in 2020, the 1st web series on TarangPlus Chumbak started streaming. So, today I started watching. The 1st episode is free for all and the other 6 episodes are premium. Though I haven't taken the subscription but I can watch all premium movies and series.

The story started with a simple girl, Sikha played by Divya Mohany from Paradeep who met Manya, a modern girl played by Tammana Vyas at Bhubaneswar at a intercollege festival. Then they became friends, best friends.

When Sikha left after the fest, Manya felt bad, so she changed her college to Sikha's, then the friendship came to another point, where everybody questioned them. It's a college life friendship love story, which our people see in a different way.

I love the whole concept and the way of presentation, but in some scenes, some unnecessary slags are used. Yes, some people are saying such things in public, but we could avoid that, without those, the storyline would be the same.

There are two major characters, Shikha and Manya and apart from them, others are not well prepared for their role. the 1st episode was quite boring, some characters playing the role forcefully and seem they aren't saying the dialogues, they are reading from some promotor.

I'm waiting for the next season. Hopefully, next time the creators may focus on such issues. They may give their character more time to practice properly.

Failure is Necessary to get Success

Sangram Keshari Senapati February 04, 2020 0
Failure is Necessary to get Success

The journey started from a beautiful place, where every day you could feel the beauty of nature directly through your eyes. Rose is beautiful, but it hurts when you can't hold it properly; like that way the beautiful place and the beautiful town started giving me pain when I can't control myself in all my studies. Because I was afraid to fail and that failure came every single time through my results, sometimes through my friends.

But life is all about LEARNING and those failures taught me lots of things and those 4 years taught me the most important lessons of life. Yes, still I'm learning lots of things, but the 1st learning process started from there when I got 4.5 SGPA in my 3rd-semester results. Someone had said to me, "you are going to read in the same semester again, because the if are going to secure less than 4.5, it's a year-back." And he also said I would definitely score less than this in my next semester, but luckily I never happen.

If you get success, everyone would come and ask for your success story, but here it's all about the story of failure. Because when you fail people would advise you the best things in life. Of course, at that time, you would get irritated from those silly pieces of advice. But you can't listen to everybody so just listen to yourself and think the exact point of your failure. In my case, my fear was that thing and then I started keeping a distance from all my family and friends who used to give me such advice.

But to change the track is not so easy, so I started reading and wring anything. I was poor in English and my voice is low, for that reason once I was scrolled by Priya mam in my 2nd semester. Obviously, from that day, I stopped asking and answering to the teachers. Due to poor English knowledge, I couldn't write in English, so started writing in Odia. In those days, my Odia writing was very poor and English writing was worst. So, I started learning both the languages, since Odia is my mother tongue, I learned that quickly rather than English. But still, I was not happy with my writings, I was looking to publish them somewhere, but such platforms were not available in those days. Typing in Odia Unicode was the 1st challenge to me.

Once I came to know about Odia Wikipedia and I was using that to type in Odia. And then I had created some random articles and the 1st one got deleted. So started learning more about the articles to write, so others could improve that and I could check my Odia writing skills. And that thing happened and my writing skills started improving day by day as well as I had learned how to write the answers on my Answer sheet in the semesters. This thing worked with me, but the internal fear was still there. The new teachers also helped, so I had started asking and answering to them since they are young and just a few years elder than us.

I was afraid to check my 5th-semester results, but I was surprised when I saw the results. For the 1st time in my engineering life, I passed all those papers. The success brings confidence and that confidence reflects in my case too. The internal fear started fading away gradually and by that time, with the period of one year, I had learned how to face that fear and how to improve my self.

My learning process was going on and I had learned how to manage life and how to appear two exams on a single day and to clear both the papers. In the same time, I was writing on Odia Wikipedia and Odia Wikisource regularly, which helped me to keep me busy with the same learning process. By that time, I had also started both my English and Odia blogs on Blogger. In my 3rd year, my 1st ever article was published on our college magazine and the editor had asked for one more story in Odia. His question for the 2nd story for the same magazine helped me to decide for next year magazine. I was the editor for the Odia section in 2016 and for the 1st time, we had published the e-magazine since we are promoting e-education and digital India.

That day I was standing on the stage with Principal sir and Priya mam, and thinking those words which she said in 2013. In that time those words had hurt me, but that word, "LOOSER" pushed me to improve me for something. To complete that magazine we had faced some problems, but later those problems helped me to start and finish my own publishing magazine within just 11 days.

In 2016, I had completed my engineering degree in Computer Science and the fear for the year-back was not there, but some new fear added to the queue. Still, I couldn't get a good job, but I was stick with that thing which helped me to improve myself. So, I was writing on Odia Wikipedia and Wikisource often. But in March 2017, I came to know about #100WikiDays, one challenge started from Bulgaria where you have to write 100 articles on a particular wiki platform for a period of 100 days.

From 8th March 2017 on World Women's Day, I had started creating women biographies on Odia Wikipedia. Those 100 days were really memorable since, in April, there was communal violence in Bhadrak, as a result, the internet was down for 48 hours. I had to keep writing and the Internet of the district was not working, I was about to fail again, but they called off the curfew for four hours and within that time, I took my father's bike and went up to the tower of Balasore district. There I parked the bike and wrote the article for the day and returned back. On 15th June 2017, I had completed my 1st #100wikidays successfully.

As I had mentioned previously a small success in life leads you towards a big and I had targeted for the WikiYear and started writing for that on 13th July 2017 and successfully completed the journey on 12th July in 2018. In those 365 days, I had written 365 articles related to Odia film industry and more than 100 other articles.

But after that, the journey wasn't so easy. Around 25 articles which I had written in those days had deleted. For a biography, I had taken an average of 4 hours which results "404 The Article Not Found". That day again the same failure came to my life. For some time, I had thought to give up and some people also forced me to do that. But those failure days had taught me to listen to me only and I had ignored them again. Again all those words pushed me to go forward.

On 12th July 2018, I had completed 2 WikiYears. I'm the 3rd person in India as well as in the world to achieve this. Recently Orissa Post had covered a story on this topic. Till today, I had written more than 1050 articles on Odia Wikipedia with 23500+ edits and also completed the 1st wikiyear on Odia Wikisource. In 2019, I got 3rd position in India and 6th position in the world in a photography competition by Wikimedia Commons named as "Wiki Loves Love". Apart from this, I'm the founder and editor of one Odia e-Magazine, Shubhapallaba. Recently we had extended the magazine to English, Bangla, Hindi, and Sanskrit just to give an opportunity to the new writers to support them morally.

I would conclude this one with this line which I had written for the title, "Failure is necessary to get Success in Life" because the failure teaches us.
