From 2020 Durga Puja, we are publishing the monthly editions of Shubhodaya on every Sankranti. Here is the 9th edition and we shared some basic details of images that we placed in this Raja special edition.
The Cover photo of the 9th edition of #Shubhodaya has been designed by Sambeet Das, our main designer from Team Shubhapallaba. The concept is based on Raja Parba and the color combination and art define it all.
Raja Parba, a unique festival celebrated in Odisha dedicated to womanhood. People may criticize our culture as Superstition or blind faith, but there is a scientific reason behind every belief. This festival is the perfect example. So, we placed this Image in Shubhodaya which described all preparation.
This time, the Govt. of Odisha also delivered Poda Pitha for Raja Parba. Here is one image by Manas Muduli sir placed in the 9th edition of Shubhodaya.
Mehendi, is our traditional design to decorate hands, palms. Previously we're using different kinds of natural flowers and leaves, but not ready-made products are available. So, we used this photo from our writer friend Sushree in the 9th edition of Shubhodaya.
Alata, a red liquid color women and girls use to put on their feet to decorate. Now ready-made bottles are available. Here is the cute feet decorated by Alata taken from our writer friend Seenu Mohapatra placed in the 9th Edition of Shubhodaya.
She doesn't need any introduction, she is our favorite Padmini Rout and you would definitely love this photo of her with red Alata for Raja Parba. She is looking absolutely beautiful in this photo.
Poda Pitha, (ପୋଡ଼ ପିଠା) is a delicious Odia sweet delicacy served as snacks. It is the Godfather of Pithas in Odisha and famous for Raja Parba. This photo has been placed in the 9th edition of Shubhodaya taken from our writer friend Biswa Ranjan Sahoo.
Look, how yummy this plate is looking. We love this Poda Pitha image, so placed this one in the 9th Edition of Shubhodaya. By the way, this photo is taken from Lipika Mohapatra.
Raja Parba is incomplete without Pana and here we got one beautiful click of Pana Phul holding by the beautiful hand of Lipsa Mohapatra, our Puri girl. So, placed this one in the 9th edition of Shubhodaya.
While combining all the images, I found this one on my WhatsApp status, and look what she is trying to convey. In this image, we can feel the pain of her and her love for our culture. Chandrakanti is our regular writer and we always love her.
Like Poda Pitha, Pana, Doli is the most important thing of this festival. I couldn't find a more beautiful photo like this. Here is Saumya mam on Raja Doli.
Raja Parba is celebrated for womanhood and how could we prepare a magazine on Raja without a photo of Bijay Biswaal sir! So, placed this beautiful woman at the end of the 9th edition of Shubhodaya.
