Bhadrak Kali Puja- 2016
At first wish you all Happy Diwali. In the Diwali festival, Goddess Kali is being worshiped in different places. First time Diwali was celebrated by the people of Ajodhya to celebrate the joy of home returning of Lord Rama. In the festival of Diwali Goddess Kali is being worshiped in West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Assam and Bangladesh. But the other states of India worshiped Goddess Laxmi in the Diwali.

Kali Puja at Bhadrak is famous in Odisha. In this year there are 7 pandals at Charampa and several pandals inside the town. One of the oldest Shakti Pitha Badrakli Tempel become festive in this festival. At Bhadrakali Temple, the Jagnya was held for 7 days. Near new bus stand, Bhadrak the temple of Maa Dakshineswar Kali also become festive for 7 days.

Previously the Puja lasts for 7 days, but this year it will going for 9 days. In between these 9 days of Kali Puja, several Jatra Parties came and held the Jatra. In this year the Jatra Parties named "Tulasi Gananatya", "The Great Eastern Apera" and "Jatra Indra Bhubana" came and held Jatra at different places nearer to Charampa Kali.

At the time of Kalipuja at Charampa, thousands of shopkeepers came and spread their business among the city. Every single thing, people needs may available there. Things like daily use materials, show materials and the others which required to our day to day life are available in those places.

I had visited all the pandals at Charampa. There are seven pandals at Charampa. Here some of the photos I post from Charampa Kali.

There are thousands of shops which contains every daily needed things for day to day life. To visit the Puja Medhas and the shops, it may take around 7 to 8 hours. For the entertainment purpose more number of Dolis came in different style for the elders as well as for the children. More than Lakhs of people came to this fair. I've captured some photographs of the shops.










These are the photographs of Dolis at Old Bus Stand, Charampa. Near RCBL High School, Pathara Kali there were many dolis like this with other styles. 




(They bring the stones form the hills and make them useful items for our daily life and sold us in lower price also.)

In Bhadrak town, there are more Kali Puja Medha from which I able to capture only one medha at Salndi, Bypass.

At the time of Kalipuja, at Bhadrakali Temple, Aaharapada, Bhadrak, Saptamatruka Biswashanti Mahajagnya held for seven days. At that time, the Saptamatruka besha of Maa Bhadakali held in seven days. The beshas of Maa Bhadrakali are as follows:
  1. Bedamata Besha- The 1st besha which held on the 1st day the Saptamatruka Jagnya.
  2. Mahakali Besha- This is the 2nd besha held on 2nd day of the Mahajagnya.
  3. RajaRajeswari Besha- This is the 3rd besha of Saptamatruka besha held on 3rd day.
  4. Singhabahini Besha- The 4th besha is Singhabahini besha held on 4th day.
  5. Jagadhatri Besha- This is the 5th besha which shows the entire power of Maa Bhadrakali.
  6. MahaSaraswati Besha- This is the 6th besha which shows the teaching of Maa Bhadrakali.
  7. Mahalaxmi Besha- This is the last besha of Maa Bhadrakali which held on the Purnahuti.

Durga Puja in Odisha

Durga Puja in Odisha
In Odisha, there are more number of festivals celebrated in a year. Among all the festivals the Durga Puja is the most expensive celebrating festival. In Kolkata, Durga puja celebrated in a different way and used more and more money in puja pandals. Don't know from when this festival has been celebrating. But according to the holy Ramayana by Balmiki, we could guess that it was started by Lord Rama Chandra before the fight against Rabana. The Sradiya DurgaPuja 1st time held by Rama Chandra in the season of  Autumn.

ଗୁରୁ ଆମକୁ ଅଜ୍ଞାନ ରୂପକ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ଜ୍ଞାନର ଆଲୋକ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରି ଆମ ଜୀବନ‌କୁ ସୁନ୍ଦର କରି ଗଢ଼ି ତୋଳନ୍ତି । କେବଳ ଯିଏ ଆମକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷାନୁଷ୍ଠାନରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଖାଲି ଆମର ଗୁରୁ ନୁହ‌ନ୍ତି । ଆମ ଜୀବନରେ ଆମେ ଯାହାଠାରୁ କିଛି ବି ଶିକ୍ଷାଲାଭ କରିଥାଉ, ଏମିତି କି ସେ ବୟସରେ ଛୋଟ ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ଆମର ଗୁରୁ । ଗୁରୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମାନାର୍ଥେ ଆଜିର ଏହି ଗୁରୁ ଦିବସ ପାଳନ ଆମ ସମାଜରେ ଗୁରୁ-ଶିଷ୍ୟର ସମ୍ପର୍କ‌କୁ ଆହୁରି ନିବିଡ଼ କରୁଛି । ଗୁରୁଦିବସରେ ହିଁ କେବଳ ଗୁରୁଙ୍କୁ ପୂଜା କରାଯାଏନି ବରଂ ସବୁଦିନେ ହୃଦୟର ଏହି ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ଗୁରୁଙ୍କୁ ପୂଜା କରାଯାଏ । ଗୁରୁଙ୍କ ବିନା ଏହି ସମାଜ ଚାଲିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ ।

ନମୋ ଗଣେଶ ବିଘ୍ନେଶ ଗିରିଜା ନନ୍ଦନଂ ପ୍ରଭୋ ।
ମମ ବିଘ୍ନ ନିହତ୍ୟାଶୁ ଗଣାଧିପତୟେ ନମଃ ।।
