Tea,
an aromatic beverage commonly prepared by pouring hot or boiling water
over cured leaves of the Camellia sinensis, an evergreen shrub native to
Asia. After water, it is the most widely consumed drink in the world.
There are many different types of tea; some teas, like Darjeeling and
Chinese greens, have a cooling, slightly bitter, and astringent flavour,
while others have vastly different profiles that include sweet, nutty,
floral or grassy notes.
Tea
plants are native to East Asia, and probably originated around the
meeting points of the lands of north Burma and southwest China. During
2737B.C., the king of China, Shennong went through some villages and set
under a tree to take rest. Near that tree, some water were boiling on a
mud pot. Some tree leafs poured automatically on those boiling water
flown by wind . With in some time, an attractive smell came from that
boiling water pot, which attracts the king the most. From those water,
the king drunk a little and felt more comfortable. After that he loved
to drink that mixture water. During that time, some were using those
leafs as medicine. Gradually those were using as daily drinks by common
people.
When
someone feels tired, he may drink tea to feel relax or to gain some
extra energy. When we get up, we take this to fit with our environment.
More number of people drink this regularly and some drink for some
pleasure.
